Doing Business with the Department of Defense

This October 19th event was hosted by Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, in partnership with the New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), on Department of Defense procurement opportunities for clean energy companies.

Attendees heard from experienced business executives as well as DoD officials about the latest green acquisition mandates, what's happening locally on green procurement, and learned how you can find and access contracting opportunities.

REEBA and NECEC Joint Event

The New England Clean Energy Council and REEBA held our first joint event in Hartford Connecticut. Commissioner Dan Esty was the keynote speaker and spoke about the new clean energy legislation and policies Connecticut is putting in place to accelerate the state's clean energy economy.

The Clean Energy Council held its annual Member Mixer at Bingham McCutchen in 2010. The evening reception offered a chance for the clean energy community to network as well as to hear updates on Clean Energy Council programs and initiatives.
 

2010 CEO D.C. Fly-in
May 11-12, 2010

Each spring, the Council brings a group of C-level executives and investors to Washington D.C. for a series of meetings on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies.  On May 11th and 12th 2010, the Council successfully executed its second annual CEO D.C. Fly-in. More than 50 executives and investors participated in meetings with Congressional Members from both parties and both chambers, as well as with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce.
