Clean Energy Transmission Summit

Doing Business with the Department of Defense

This October 19th event was hosted by Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, in partnership with the New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), on Department of Defense procurement opportunities for clean energy companies.
Attendees heard from experienced business executives as well as DoD officials about the latest green acquisition mandates, what's happening locally on green procurement, and learned how you can find and access contracting opportunities.

2010 CEO D.C. Fly-in
May 11-12, 2010
Each spring, the Council brings a group of C-level executives and investors to Washington D.C. for a series of meetings on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies. On May 11th and 12th 2010, the Council successfully executed its second annual CEO D.C. Fly-in. More than 50 executives and investors participated in meetings with Congressional Members from both parties and both chambers, as well as with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce.
