Maine Clean Energy Day

At the inaugural Maine Clean Energy Day fifteen clean energy executives met with legislative leadership and members of key committees, including both Chairs of the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee. The day’s legislative meetings followed an E2Tech morning forum, “Maine Energy & Environmental Policy: Priorities for the 126th Legislature,” co-hosted by NECEC and the Maine Chamber of Commerce.

Clean Energy Transmission Summit

This October 19th event was hosted by Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, in partnership with the New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), on Department of Defense procurement opportunities for clean energy companies.
Attendees heard from experienced business executives as well as DoD officials about the latest green acquisition mandates, what's happening locally on green procurement, and learned how you can find and access contracting opportunities.
2011 DC Fly-in
The New England Clean Energy Council, along with the Clean Economy Network, jointly brought nearly 100 clean energy executives to DC for two days of meetings with members of Congress from both houses, executive agencies, think tanks and more. 2010 CEO D.C. Fly-in

Each spring, the Council brings a group of C-level executives and investors to Washington D.C. for a series of meetings on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies. On May 11th and 12th 2010, the Council successfully executed its second annual CEO D.C. Fly-in. More than 50 executives and investors participated in meetings with Congressional Members from both parties and both chambers, as well as with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce.
