2010 Council CEO D.C. Fly-in Policy Documents

The New England Clean Energy Council supports immediate passage of comprehensive climate and energy legislation that provides a stable policy roadmap, caps greenhouse
gas emissions and sets a price on carbon.

On May 11th and 12th, 2010, over 50 CEOs, investors, and senior executives attended the Council's second annual CEO D.C. Fly-in to call for a price on carbon.

Over two days of meetings with members of Congress and both Department of Energy and Department of Commerce staff, the delegation emphasized the importance of comprehensive climate and energy legislation to create jobs, unleash investment, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and improve energy efficiency.

Attached below are a number of documents outlining the Council's federal policy positions.
