Industry sector: Energy efficiency
Three University of Massachusetts Amherst students each won part of a $25,000 scholarship created by Conservation Services Group (CSG) of Westborough, Mass. to support clean energy-related research and studies.
CSG's Executive VP of Finance Wanda Reindorf, Senior VP of Policy & Advocacy Pat Stanton, and Corporate Communications Director Kathleen DeVito visited U/Mass Amherst on April 5 to honor the CSG Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Scholarship recipients. CSG created the scholarship in 2009 to commemorate its silver anniversary and give back to the community. The “CSG Scholars” honored during the visit are two graduate students and one undergraduate -- from India, Springfield Mass. and Nampa, Idaho. They were selected for scholarships to support their studies in energy technologies, natural resources, and public policy. U/Mass has a strong curriculum for supporting these disciplines and CSG had a productive day learning about the University’s programs in clean energy.
