The state of Connecticut reports it is taking bids for $20 million in stimulus funding for energy conservation projects in the Nutmeg State.
Gov. Jodi Rell announced earlier this week the state had received about $36 million of the $3.2 billion of bonds made available for energy conservation projects in Connecticut by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Of that $36 million, $20 million will be available to Connecticut cities and towns for energy projects in the form of Qualified Energy Conservation Bonds.
