The Institute for Energy and Sustainability (IES) announces its 2010 corporate conference to be held on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Gateway Park in Worcester, MA from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Attendance is by invitation only.
IES is Central New England’s green business zone, and is a recently founded organization with the support of Congressman McGovern, Governor Patrick, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Clark University, and the Clean Energy Center. Its mission is to attract clean energy technology and renewable energy companies to the region by building on the area’s assets and reputation as an incubator of innovation. IES’ priority is to create an environment for those seeking economic opportunity and advantage in this sector, and to support the growth of jobs by establishing a national district of world-class clean technology companies.
This conference is a highly valuable step in creating a full understanding of the new energy economy and how clean energy technology investments can improve an enterprise’s bottom line. The venue will also furnish an opportunity for participants to present their interests in this sector to Congressman McGovern, Lieutenant Governor Murray and invited speakers form the U.S. Department of Energy and the Massachusetts Offices of Energy and Environmental Affairs and the Clean Energy Center. Business, academic, and other government leaders in the region are also confirmed participants.
This conference should enable participants to advance their business interests in this sector.
