Sustainability in Action

Join us on March 25th as we focus on how businesses can implement sustainability in practical, actionable ways that drive profits, strengthen competitive advantage, and move us all towards a life on a healthier, cleaner planet.

• Start the day with an inspiring keynote session with Gary Hirshberg, President and CE-Yo of Stonyfield Farm. Gary is a leader in the organic movement and a frequent speaker on sustainability, climate change, green and socially responsible business, organic agriculture, and sustainable economic development.

• Listen and learn as award-winning journalist and host of NPR's On Point, Tom Ashbrook, facilitates a discussion among corporate leaders in sustainability, including Martin Madaus, Chairman, President, and CEO of Millipore. The interactive conversation will explore on how businesses are implementing sustainable strategies without waiting for legislative action.

• Attend interactive seminars and discussions to learn about the latest clean technologies, including seminars on Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Design, and a roundtable discussion with entrepreneurs from the New England Clean Energy Council Fellowship Program.

• Gain practical insights and ask questions during the afternoon's Walking the Walk Speaker Series: short, dynamic talks by entrepreneurs and visionary business leaders from the Environmental Defense Fund, Sikorsky Aircraft and more who have broken with the old way of thinking to create new and sustainable business models that prove the triple bottom line is a reality, not just hype.
Throughout the day, you will be exposed to the emerging business strategies, innovative companies, and clean technologies that are driving this sector forward. The conference's new and dynamic format will:

• Facilitate more effective networking among professionals

• Provide exhibitors greater exposure to potential clients

• Offer attendees opportunities to learn and engage in meaningful dialogue about clean technology and sustainable and profitable business practices
