MIT Energy Conference

The New England Clean Energy Council is proud to be a Supporting Sponsor of this year's conference.

The MIT Energy Conference is an annual student-run conference that brings together leaders in the fields of technology, policy, industry, and finance to develop solutions for the the world’s most pressing energy challenges. Environmental and security concerns have created an opportunity for fundamental change in the way the world produces and consumes energy. The MIT Energy Conference will explore these opportunities and showcase promising technology and policy pathways that have the potential to make a significant impact on energy solutions across the global energy landscape.

The Conference will be held on the 5th and 6th of March, 2010: Friday, March 5th will feature several Workshops and the annual Conference Showcase, and Conference panels will be held on Saturday, March 6. This represents the fifth annual MIT Energy Conference, to be enjoyed in a larger venue that will enable considerable flexibility in the way that attendees can interact with the interdisciplinary body of experts that will be in attendance. The desired outcome is to build a joint vision of the future that will help remove roadblocks to implementation, develop collaborative solutions, and bring the energy community closer together.
