The New England Clean Energy Council’s mission is to accelerate New England’s clean energy economy to global leadership by building an active community of stakeholders and a world-class cluster of clean energy companies. The Council focuses its resources on five key areas - innovation, growth, education, adoption and policy - and represents a diverse set of stakeholders, including industry associations, area utilities, local universities, labor and large commercial end-users. Founded in 2007, the Council is rapidly growing in both membership and program breadth.

The Council recently launched a vastly expanded website and is seeking an intern to oversee the development and maintenance of the site. The intern will be responsible for maintaining and keeping up-to-date content and images on the website’s homepage, news and events and resources pages. The intern will also serve as a liaison between third-party website developers and Council management, handle all online event registrations and credit card processing, assist with the implementation and maintenance of a contact management and fundraising database and provide support for any other web-related projects that may arise. Finally, the intern will be working with the Workforce Development Group to develop an online database of energy-related educational programs in New England.
Experience with Drupal , web design and basic HTML preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate should be attentive to detail and possess excellent writing and communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

The New England Clean Energy Council is located in Harvard Square. Telecommuting optional.

This position is unpaid with flexible part-time hours.
