Current Job Opportunity Summary:
CSG has a newly created opportunity for an experienced Manager of Market Development to join our NE New Construction Group and apply their expertise in helping us expand CSG's portfolio of offerings promoting energy efficient and sustainable construction practices, including ENERGY STAR Homes, Earth Advantage, and LEED for Homes to the market rate, affordable and low income housing market sectors.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the management team to increase market penetration and market share by developing and implement go-to-market strategies and tactics. Provide guidance and recommendations on campaign targeting and audiences. This market strategy needs to drive demand for services with residential developers, municipalities and within the green community to increase and create participation in our programs.
• Work with Corporate Communications Director on branding, internal communications and public relations outreach
• Implement and manage all marketing and sales support requirements to build program brand recognition and increase industry participation
• Mentor and train internal staff regarding selling the value of energy efficient and green building services to builders and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related fields and/or equivalent experience required; knowledge of the residential building industry a must.
Minimum of 5-7 years of sales management and/or B2B marketing. Ideally, experience in new residential construction initiatives preferred
Ability to effectively influence and communicate ideas, resolve issues and manage solutions within a team environment
Excellent project management
Proven track record of driving demand for products and services via channel partners.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of establishing credibility with key customers, prospects and business partners
Highly organized, self-starter with demonstrated leadership ability
Strategic thinker with proven analytical skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience + incentive compensation
Compensation package: Includes participation in group incentive plan and paid holidays, 80% paid medical, 50% paid dental, paid life & AD&D and paid STD & LTD insurance coverage, plus employer matching retirement plan
