The Position
Responsible for all routine operations activities. Develops production planning and scheduling. Troubleshoots process problems. Develops process improvements that result in lower cost and improves quality. Assures safety program compliance. Provide technical and process control support to plant operations, trouble-shooting plants’ problems and evaluate cost reduction, optimization, safety, environmental, capacity increase and quality ideas. Furnish general process control support to plant operations.
Responsibilities
The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but are not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
•Coaching and developing employees, measurement of employee performance, and provide appropriate feedback.
•Monitor plant operations and make appropriate adjustments.
•Monitor and control costs associated with Operation of the plant.
•Observe condition of plant equipment and report mechanical problems.
•Maintain a cooperative relationship with other plant work groups.
•Ensure proper and safe operation and maintenance of plant systems (mechanical, electrical, safety)
•Set reasonable priorities for maintenance work and communicate with maintenance to insure work is accomplished.
•Maintain environmental compliance with all applicable regulations.
•Maintain a safe work environment.
•Record and maintain daily plant operations reports
•Develop shift schedule and monitor personal and sick leave time usage of employees
Qualifications

•Six or more years of operations experience in an industrial plant or other similar industry.
•Understanding of compressors, engines, motors, separators and filtration.
•Working knowledge of PLC’s, process controllers, pneumatic and electrical devices, motor starters, control panels.
•Ability to make timely decisions.
•Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop employees.
•Demonstrated and proven leadership skills to accomplish work through others.
•Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
•Working knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
•Working knowledge of PC computer systems and MS Office products.
