Created in 1989 by the Nordic Council of Ministers (comprising Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark and Finland), and part of the Global Ecolabel Network, the endorsement signifies a company’s environmentally sustainable products. Representatives from Nordic Ecolabel are exhibiting jointly with Boston-Power at the 24th International Battery Seminar & Exhibit, beginning today in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The announcement underscores the trend of consumer and business conscientiousness regarding the environmental implications of products. Nordic Ecolabel acknowledges companies like Boston-Power that are conscientious regarding the environmental impact of the production, usage and disposal of their products, providing guidance to consumers who prefer environmentally responsible products.
