Responsibilities
* Manages the Engineering Quality Assurance function. This includes planning tests, writing procedures, executing (both personally and through staff) tests to validate product design. In addition maintaining records of progress and success for the purposes of estimating and tracking schedule.
* Manages and maintains the issue tracking system.
* Develops regression tests for ensuring continuing product functionality during additions and enhancements.
* Works closely with the Software/Firmware team to design and document new products and features. Identifies tests, potential problems and resolutions for those designs.
* Works closely with the Hardware team to plan and ensure execution of HW validation and margin testing.
* Manages the Operations Quality Control function. This includes writing procedures and executing (both personally and through staff) inspections of as-built product quality. Also includes monitoring failure causes and driving to reduction in failure rates.
* Acts as a senior member of the Engineering Department staff.
* Manages all assigned personnel.

* Five to ten years experience in an Engineering Quality Assurance role in a high tech environment.
* Experience of Manufacturing Quality Control is a plus as is previous management experience.
