This role will report to the Vice President, Product Engineering and will play a critical role in several product development programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in electro-mechanical product development and commercialization and will have an aggressive, “can do” attitude.

Requirements include the following:

• 5-12 years of product design / development engineering experience as part of a multi- disciplinary product development and commercialization team.
• Experience in conceptualizing and developing platform products from reusable components and subsystems that combine to form multi-model product lines.
• Engineering strength in thermodynamics, fluidics and material science is required.
• Design experience with electrical and fluidic interconnections, electro-mechanical component specification, product enclosures and packaging.
• Hands-on product development experience and problem-solving ability, particularly with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in successfully transitioning new products into volume manufacturing and supporting product launch activities at initial customers is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Design-for-xxx methodologies.
• Solidworks and CAD analysis experience is required.
• Direct experience with fuel cells and/or start-up companies is strongly desired but not required.
• Organized, productive, self-motivated professional comfortable with responsibility. Integrity, teamwork, high attention to detail and solid work ethic required. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory; advanced technical degrees are a plus.
• Must be US citizen.
