Each spring, the Council brings a group of C-level executives and investors to Washington D.C. for a series of meetings on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies. On May 11th and 12th 2010, the Council successfully executed its second annual CEO D.C. Fly-in. More than 50 executives and investors participated in meetings with Congressional Members from both parties and both chambers, as well as with officials from the Department of Energy and the Department of Commerce. Plans for a 2011 Fly-in are underway and dates will be released shortly. Learn more about past Fly-ins here.
Financing clean energy projects continues to be a critical challenge in growing our clean energy economy. In 2010, the Council launched a popular panel series on the subject, convening panels to address topics including the structure of financing clean energy projects, financial intricacies of REC markets, and more. Panels are free for all Council Sponsors and Members.

The New England Clean Energy Council is organizing a series of roundtable discussions to examine New England's technical, policy, and integration strengthens and challenges in the developing electric grid. Roundtable participants include utilities, smart grid companies, investors, policymakers, and regulators. The Council has convened roundtable discussions on Integration and Distribution and Grid-Scale Energy Storage. Participation is by invitation only.
This annual black tie gala is the region's preeminent clean energy networking event. Over 400 members of New England's clean energy community attended the Clean Energy Council's 3rd Annual Green Tie Gala on November 4.
