DC Fly-In events bring together a broad coalition of C-level executives and investors from NECEC's member companies for a series of meetings in Washington, D.C. with leadership on Capitol Hill and with executive agencies. These meetings bring new ideas to the federal policy debate and build strong relationships with our representatives to be part of the solution.

December, 2012

In December, 2012, NECEC, several of its regional counterparts - including several chapters of Advanced Energy Economy (AEE), of which NECEC is the New England chapter- and over twenty executives convened in Washington, DC to advocate for clean energy in the lame-duck session and during the next Congress.

Clean energy supporters from New England, California, Colorado, Michigan, Oregon, and Washington joined together for two days of meetings and panels, discussing topics ranging from the production tax credit to continuing support for ARPA-E, as well as a clean energy policy agenda for 2013 for Market Development, Innovation, Tax Policy and Financing.

The Fly-In coincided with NECEC's release of its 2013 federal clean energy policy platform.
